The Empowerment Effect is thrilled to be hosting the 2023 PlayLA Ice Hockey Tournament over Labor Day Weekend at The Rinks Lakewood Ice. After 20 years, we are taking the tournament over from the Los Angeles Blades hockey club. We will continue with the long-standing spirit of inclusion and diversity that this tournament is known for, as well as impart our own mission to empower girls and young women through the sport of ice hockey. We can't wait to celebrate PlayLA's 20th anniversary with you and your team.
